First Baptist's youth have the opportunity to participate in many events during the course of the year for many different reasons. Please give the office a call (274.3286) if you are interested in joining us for any of them!

Bible Study, Worship, Choir, Discipleship, Forum and Fellowship - Throughout the week during the school year, youth have the opportunity to meet with God and each other to strengthen relationships and fellowship.

Summer Sundays - 9:15 am - Bible Study; 10:30 am - Worship

July 2010 (during July Worship will be at 9:15 am & Bible study at 10:30 am)
12-15 (Mon-Fri) - Help with "Under Construction" BIBLE Camp
13 (Tues) - MLB All-Star game, 7:30 pm, Cafe (Boys bring drinks / Girls bring snacks)
14 (Wed) - Bible Study, 6 pm, Youth room
16 (Fri) - GUM, 10:15 am, Serving lunch at Partnership Village. Bring money for a lunch afterwards. Will be finished by 2:30 pm.
17 (Sat) - Softball vs. Guilford Park, 4 pm
18 (Sun) - Celebrations in SS, 9:15 am; Outdoor Movie Night, 8 pm, Stephens house
19 (Mon) - Lunch, 12 noon
21 (Wed) - Bible Study, 6 pm, Youth room
22 (Thurs) - Emerald Point, 9 am
23 (Fri) - GUM, 10:15 am, Serving lunch at Partnership Village. Bring money for a lunch afterwards. Will be finished by 2:30 pm.
24 (Sat) - Hiking at Pilot Mountain, 10 am
25 (Sun) - NC All-State Youth Choir Concert, 6 pm, Ardmore Baptist, Winston Salem
26-30 (Mon-Fri) - Choir Camp, 9am-1 pm, MS Grades 6-7 can participate, Cost: $30. To register, contact the music office: click to email or 274-3286.
28 (Wed) - Bible Study, 6 pm, Youth room
29 (Thurs) - Grasshoppers game, 7 pm (must pre-purchase tix in office or Sundays in Atrium - cost $8 per ticket)
30 (Fri) - GUM, 10:15 am, Serving lunch at Partnership Village. Bring money for a lunch afterwards. Will be finished by 2:30 pm; Choir Camp Closing Concert, 1 pm
31 (Sat) - Stream Clean-up, time TBA

August 2010
2 (Sun) - Lunch, 12 noon

9 (Sun) - Lunch, 12 noon
12 (Thurs) - White Water Rafting, 9 am
13 (Fri) - GUM, 10:15 am, Serving lunch at Partnership Village. Bring money for a lunch afterwards. Will be finished by 2:30 pm & End of Summer Lock-in, 9 pm
14 (Sat) - Softball vs. College Park, 4 pm
20 (Fri) - GUM, 10:15 am, Serving lunch at Partnership Village. Bring money for a lunch afterwards. Will be finished by 2:30 pm.

25 (Wed) - BACK TO SCHOOL for Guilford County
29 (Sun) - Baptism and BBQ at the Lake, Camp Weaver, 5 pm. Wear your bathing suits and have fun! Families need to bring side dishes to share and lawn chairs or blankets. Barbecue is $2 per person.

During the school year (September - May), the core schedule is:
Sunday Morning - 9:15 am - Bible Study; 10:30 am - Worship
Sunday Evening - 4 pm - Handbells (Orchestra in May); 5 pm - Choir; 6 pm - Snack Supper; 6:15 pm-7 pm - Discipleship
Wednesday Evening - 5:15-6:15 -Fellowship Dinner; 6:15 - Youth Forum & WOW!!
