In the FBC Youth Ministry we live like Jesus ... learning, laughing, growing, praising, loving, serving, going and doing.  We live in fellowship and respect and will hold each other accountable to God's word.  Come and be a part of a great group of youth searching for their place in God's kingdom.  Find your place here at FBC!

We have lots of fun with special events, retreats, mission trips, choir tours, volunteering in the community, and more.  Our weekly activities start on Sunday mornings with Bible study at 9:15 am.  Sunday afternoons begin at 4 pm with music activities and include a snack supper and conclude with discipleship time by 7 pm.  Wednesday nights are a time of fun, fellowship and seeking from 6:15-7:15 pm.

Summer Youth Mission Trip - "MISSION UNIDIVERSITY" in Rutherfordton, NC:
June 17-22, 2012
This year our youth will head to the mountains of NC for their summer mission trip.  This will be a construction mission trip with other churches that participate in the Unidiversity program!
  Youth are encouraged to participate in the Valentine Banquet in order to raise some money to help pay for their trip. 

Register & Pay Online!

Cost: Register before February 19 for Early Bird Registration of $150 per person.  Cost increases by $25 to $175 if you register after February 19.  A deposit of $50 reserves your spot!  Final payments are due by May 20, 2012.

You will need to complete Youth Activities Permission Form to participate.


UNIDIVERSITY  -  NEW THIS YEAR - - leave on Sunday and return on Friday!
July 15-20, 2012  
We are headed back to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina to Mars Hill  College for Unidiversity! Since 1993, teenagers from all over the Southeast have attended an extraordinary week of energizing, inspiring, and progressive discipleship training for teens — Unidiversity. Beginning with a small group of five churches, the camp has grown to over twenty churches from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia and Kentucky. The underlying focus of the camp has always been two-fold: 1) We help youth see themselves as unique individuals crafted by the creative power of a loving God who is revealed in Jesus the Christ. 2) We help youth see themselves as a member of God's larger Community, which represents many different gifts, talents, styles and viewpoints. A spirit of openness and connection has encouraged teens from a variety of backgrounds to embrace the Unidiversity experience. Teenagers from inner-city ministries, from small rural congregations, and from large suburban churches make up Unidiversity. Over the past four years, Unidiversity has expanded its offerings to include a week-long mission experience and a week-long collegiate retreat. So, from theology to worship style to missions to just plain having fun together, Unidiversity helps teens discover UNITY in God's family when we love each other and celebrate our DIVERSITY...

Tickets: $12.50 per person
Last day to purchase tickets is Sunday, February 5
Buy tickets during the week in the Youth office or on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.

Childcare is available with a reservation for $5/child.  Grade school children will be able to enjoy the entertainment/variety show part of the evening.  You may feed your child prior to arriving or bring a bag dinner.
