CLOSED until next season: December 2014 - March 2015
The WE! Shelter officially closed on April 1.  Thank you to everyone who served the women in our community in some capacity through the shelter ministry.

FBC, Greensboro Urban Ministry, the YWCA, and several other congregations partner together to sponsor a Winter Emergency Shelter for homeless women in our community. The YWCA WE! Shelter serves up to 20 women each night. Open from 6:00 pm until 7:00 am, volunteers help the shelter staff to provide a safe, warm place where residents can enjoy a hot evening meal, shower and sleep, and receive a bag of food for the next day’s breakfast and/or lunch.

YWCA WE! Shelter Address / Map:

1807 E. Wendover Avenue (east of Hwy 29 before English Street), Greensboro, NC

Shelter Entrance: Located in the back of the building and looks like a loading dock with a large glass window and door.
