FBC, Greensboro Urban Ministry, the YWCA, and several other congregations partner together to sponsor a Winter Emergency Shelter for homeless women in our community. The YWCA WE! Shelter serves up to 20 women each night. Open from 6:00 pm until 7:00 am, volunteers help the shelter staff to provide a safe, warm place where residents can enjoy a hot evening meal, shower and sleep, and receive a bag of food for the next day’s lunch.
